As we wind down our festival run we have had an incredible winter! February started off with the Best Documentary Short Award at Bacalar International Film Festival in Quintana Roo, Mexico, and screenings at Frozen River Film Festival in Minnesota, Say It Loud Film Festival in Baltimore, and the award for Best Director at Samskara International Film Festival in Uttar Pradesh, India. In March we screened at The Reel Deal Film Festival in Florida, where we won the Audience Award, and The FAUNA Tepoztlan Animal Film Festival, in Morelos Mexico, where we were honored with the Domingo Award for Best Film. We have a few more screenings coming up in Spring including the Films That Inspire FF in Australia, and Nature Without Borders where we received an Award of Excellence. 33 festivals and 13 Awards later this has been quite a run! We look forward to sharing it widely this summer. Thank you for everyone who has supported the project!
