Operation Manifest Destiny was a project for a journalist who had traveled, unembedded, to Iraq during the height of the war in Iraq. After his travels his research took him to Pine Ridge Indian reservation he investigated the parallels between the war in Iraq and the history our government has had with the indigenous populations of America. Flying Limbs was initially hired as a consultant to review his material and advise ways to turn it into a film. We were then subsequently hired to write a new treatment, write and direct a pitch film, and create a pitch packet proposal to turn his material into a feature documentary.
